This is a GORGEOUS cabinet. Not at all staid, old-fashioned, and boring like most curios (which I always associate with old ladies and Hummel figurines). Instead, this has a very contemporary, rich look. (But it's warm, too--not a "cold" clinical look like much contemporary furniture). The curves are what make it interesting and special, and I like that it is lighted and the shelves are easily adjustable as well.

Keep in mind, however, that the design prevents it from holding a lot of stuff. (It's a half-round shape.) I use mine to display the natural, found objects that my family likes to collect-- shells, feathers, bones, pinecones, etc.--as well as a few small pieces of pottery and other objet d'art. Everything in it looks fantastic.

HIGHLY recommended, especially for those with more eclectic, contemporary tastes.

The anchor feature is frustrating - the unit comes with no instructions on how to properly anchor it to the wall. We had to figure it out for ourselves. You cannot put anything decorative on top of the unit to make it look less plain, because the light fixture leaves a large gap in the top of the unit. The adhesive for the light switch is very cheaply made, and does not fix properly to the back of the unit. The light itself malfunctions frequently. The glass for the shelves are shipped in the bottom of the unit, and the shelves are prone to flaking and chipping.

This cabinet is absolutely gorgeous! It is a solid, well built curio with two different settings for the light. It is well worth the money as it looks much more expensive than I paid. Nice, slim lines make it a nice accent piece without overpowering the decor. Lovely.

The cabinet itself is very pretty, I like the light and the hooks on the top to secure to the wall. The metal gold looking handles that close the doors look very cheap. It is the perfect size for a small place. WARNING!!!! [...]

I bought this Curio for its size and shape. It displays beautifuly my Nativity sets, though for some reason the round shape on the glass reflects outisde light too much. It looks really nice don't take me wrong, thing is that with all the reflection sometimes it is hard to appreciate from a distance, what it's inside. The finish and shape on the curio are really attractive. The way the glass doors close and open, to me, is not practical, and there is a gap between the glass doors and the curio, when they are closed, causing dust to get inside quicker. Other than that, my curio is my pride.

-I needed something to put my expensive crystals in, to keep them from getting broke and touched while still being able to proundly display them. At the same time I did not want to empty my wallet. I got exactly what I expected when I bought it. I would have liked to be able to lock it up, but I knew when I bought it that I wasn't going to have that.

For a narrow cabinet, it holds quite a large amount of figurines. The only drawback was that the switch for the overhead light was attached to the back with "sticky tape" that wore off about a week after set-up.

This is a beautiful curio for a smaller space or room. [...] I didn't have to put together!! I searched other companies for the exact same product and they wanted $200.00 more!!
